We are DIFFERENT
The American Cancer Association is a grassroots initiative by individuals like you, dedicated to giving back to society. We operate independently, without affiliations to any organizations or reliance on government financing or grants. As a community-focused organization, we are wholly dependent on the generosity and support of our community.
Our program offers free cancer support services for those struggling to manage their lives in the face of cancer. We provide a variety of assistance to patients, including free counseling, in-person meetings and consultations, cancer education workshops, financial aid, and resources for those in third world countries. Through our professional and personal approach, we aim to assist thousands of patients and hope to extend our reach with your support as we progress.
At the AMERICAN CANCER ASSOCIATION, we take a comprehensive approach to combat the scourge of cancer. While developed countries benefit from numerous organizations, hospitals, and treatment centers addressing this daunting issue, sadly, that is not the case in many third world countries.
There exists an unseen desperation as cancer inflicts suffering and ultimately takes the lives of thousands. We, at ACA, are committed to addressing this crisis with a threefold approach:
1) First, we will raise awareness of this urgent situation. With alarming crises—both natural and man-made—drawing public attention in various directions, the ongoing devastation remains unchecked. Our goal is to elevate awareness and maintain that focus on cancer support services.
2) Secondly, raising funds is vital. NOTHING can be achieved without the necessary financial resources.
3) Lastly, our most ambitious and crucial goal is to establish cancer treatment centers in regions where such facilities are virtually non-existent.
